Contentious Agreement Raises Concerns
Ethiopia’s controversial agreement with Somaliland, seeking 20 kilometers of Somali land in exchange for recognition, has sparked significant alarm in Mogadishu. President Mohamud has fiercely criticized the deal, viewing it as an infringement on Somalia’s territorial sovereignty.

A United Front Against Internal and External Threats
Asserting Somalia’s capability to simultaneously counter Al-Shabaab and any Ethiopian aggression, President Mohamud calls for national unity. He emphasizes the Somali people’s collective strength in defending their nation against these multifaceted challenges.
